The brief

Yuum is on a mission to change the way we experience new foods and flavours.

After proven success in Ukraine, Yuum begins its journey in the UK. With the captivating tagline ‘A craving for curiosity’, Yuum aims to be a one-stop shop for consumers wanting to try exciting and unique foods from around the world that may not otherwise be accessible in the UK.

The initial offering from Yuum is authentic Japanese mochi, available in a variety of flavours, all of which are vegan and gluten-free.

Our solution

Since its UK market launch, Seen has been supporting Yuum from the off...setting up the social channels, outlining the social strategy, creating a regular flow of engaging content and building their social community.

Organic content has been supplemented with paid advertising, helping to grow awareness and interest, pushing a steady stream of traffic to Yuum's e-commerce site.

To help with getting Yuum's first product - The Real Mochi - to a broader audience, Seen has also been managing influencer outreach, getting content creators to share their reactions of the chilled, delectable treats.

As a way to further widen reach and gain traction with the target audience, Seen has orchestrated collaborations and giveaways with likeminded brands to bring new eyes to Yuum's profiles, across Instagram and TikTok.

The results

Yuum's primary channel has been Instagram, accumulating over 4,000 followers since inception, and generating over 1.5m impressions in the first five months. Gaining a reach of more than one million in 2023, there's been a great amount of interest in these mouthwatering morsels, hitting close to 55,000 profile visits too.

With a consistent, proactive social presence, Seen's activity and creative input has helped Yuum see a month-on-month increase in sales over the first half of 2023.

Furthermore, the brand has also attracted interest from a number of exciting potential retail partners, so The Real Mochi could be coming to a shop near you very soon...!
